The Room
What better way to end the seafood buffet than to retire to the Luxury Room in the hotel. The fully carpeted room comes with a wonderful view overlooking the city. The room came complete with a desk and chair, as well as a sofa which seats two people comfortably. Complimentary drinking water and coffee/tea refreshments with available too.
The Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, and includes the basic bathroom amenities.
Breakfast
Instead of going to have breakfast at The Berkeley Dining Room, I opted to have it served in the room. It was promptly served at the arranged time and there was a wide variety. The view reminded me of my stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok with its city views.
Swimming Pool
There’s a huge swimming pool with a pool bar in the Main Tower, and I’ve read that the North Tower also has a pool of its own.
At the moment there’s a Staycation Package for 2 with includes 1 night in a Luxury Room, the weekend Seafood Buffet and a Breakfast Set for only 3333 THB on Fridays and Saturdays; or 3079 THB from Sunday-Thursday. This promotion will be running until October 31 2021. I’d advise you to contact the hotel to make a reservation and to confirm if they have the buffet available.

Oh my what a magnificent place!

Not patronising, I’m very much a Four Seasons Hotel/Resort person having stayed with them wherever I travel. I posted one on the Four Seasons Gresham Palace Hotel in Budapest in an older blog. The one in Tokyo has fascinating views amidst Tokyo’s skyscapers. and the one in Singapore and everywhere:-) After the Four Seasons (now Anantara) in Rajadamri road made its exit, the ones I have stayed with are the Mandarin Oriental Hotels and Aman resorts. They are superb. There’s the new Four Seasons across the river (wasn’t open when I was there in 2019 but they are now) and one in Chiang Mai. (stayed there for a couple of times and always go there when I am back in the country. With Covid-19 travel bans from my side, don’t know when I will be there again. If you’re writing as a blogger, they may give you a room but only if you are an influencer with thousands of followers. These establishments have their loyal long-term and long-time clientele and they are always cared for by their PR people. There’s more to write about Bangkok than hotels. Sadly, every hotelier around the world feels the pinch of lack of customers due to this “pandemic.” Keep writing!

The pool shots looks great camouflaging the busy Pratunam area. But it sure is wonderful to be towering above the ground, looking out to the city’s hi-rise landscape. Greetings from The Netherlands.
